Terms and Conditions of Use — Edriso

Edriso is the platform name for an exam library serving the Algerian education system.

Edriso is subject to applicable Algerian legislation and regulations, including, where applicable:

• Law No. 18-05 of 10 May 2018 relating to electronic commerce;
• Law No. 09-03 of 25 February 2009 relating to consumer protection and the repression of fraud, as amended and supplemented;
• Law No. 18-07 of 10 June 2018 relating to the protection of natural persons in the processing of personal data, as amended and supplemented, including by Law No. 25-11 of 24 July 2025;
• Ordinance No. 03-05 of 19 July 2003 relating to copyright and related rights;
• Law No. 04-02 of 23 June 2004 establishing the rules applicable to commercial practices;
• the Algerian Civil Code and other applicable legislation and regulations.

Where mandatory Algerian law grants a user or consumer rights that cannot legally be waived by contract, these Terms shall not be interpreted as limiting those rights.

The current public service provides exam discovery by educational classification, document viewing and downloads where available, and document contributions for review. Staff tools support moderation and publication.

Student registration, paid subscriptions, payment processing, saved learning progress, advertising placements and AI tutoring are not offered in the current release. Future services require updated information before they are introduced.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Edriso is an independent educational platform.

The availability of Algerian national examinations, curricula-related resources, school documents, or other public educational material does not mean that Edriso is affiliated with, approved by, sponsored by, or officially representing the Algerian Ministry of National Education, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, ONEC, an educational institution, or another public authority.

Official information should always be verified through the competent Algerian authority.

Public browsing and document contributions do not require an account or payment. Authentication is reserved for authorized staff; access to administration and moderation requires multi-factor verification.

Accounts in the current release are for authorized staff only; there is no public student registration.

Users must provide accurate information when creating an account.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and should immediately notify Edriso if they reasonably suspect unauthorized access to their account.

It is prohibited to:

• create accounts using fraudulent information;
• impersonate another person;
• sell or transfer an account without authorization;
• obtain unauthorized access to another user's account; or
• use multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions imposed by Edriso.

Edriso may suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraud, abuse, security violations, infringement, or serious or repeated violations of these Terms.

Edriso is intended in part for students and may therefore be used by minors.

Processing of personal data relating to minors shall be carried out in accordance with applicable Algerian legislation concerning personal-data protection and any applicable requirements concerning consent or authorization by a parent or legal representative.

Edriso shall seek to collect only information reasonably necessary for providing its educational services.

Features involving payments, sensitive personal information, public interaction, or other higher-risk processing may be subject to additional restrictions.

Edriso organizes educational resources to make them easier for students to discover and use.

Resources may originate from:

• official examinations;
• public educational resources;
• schools and educational institutions;
• teachers and contributors;
• publishers or other rights holders;
• users authorized to submit material; or
• Edriso's own educational team.

Edriso will make reasonable efforts to correctly identify and classify materials.

However, Edriso does not guarantee that every examination, solution, classification, chapter, year, subject, difficulty level, answer, or other educational element is free from errors.

Official examination papers may be identified as such where their source can reasonably be established.

Edriso does not claim authorship or ownership of official government examination papers merely because they are indexed, organized, hosted, or displayed through the Platform.

Any rights belonging to the Algerian State, educational authorities, institutions, authors, publishers, teachers, or other rights holders remain with their respective owners.

Subject to rights belonging to third parties, Edriso retains rights in its original intellectual creations and Platform assets, including, as applicable:

• the Edriso name and branding;
• logos;
• original interface designs;
• graphics and illustrations;
• original written content;
• original educational resources;
• software;
• database structure and organization;
• classifications;
• original solutions and explanations; and
• other content created specifically by Edriso.

These elements are protected to the extent provided by Algerian intellectual-property legislation.

Documents available through Edriso may remain protected by copyright even when they are educational materials.

The publication of material on Edriso does not automatically mean that the material is free of copyright.

Users must respect the intellectual-property rights of authors, teachers, publishers, institutions, and other rights holders.

Unless authorized by law or by the rights holder, users may not commercially reproduce, republish, sell, or redistribute protected materials obtained through Edriso.

A receiving channel is not yet verified. Check contact availability and reporting guidance before attempting to send a complaint.

A rights holder who believes that material available through Edriso violates their intellectual-property rights may submit a removal request.

The request should contain, where reasonably possible:

• identification of the rights holder;
• identification of the relevant work;
• the URL or location of the material on Edriso;
• an explanation of the claimed rights;
• supporting information where appropriate; and
• contact details.

Edriso may temporarily restrict access to disputed content while investigating a legitimate complaint and may permanently remove content when appropriate.

Edriso is primarily intended for personal and educational use.

Users may access, view, study, and, where the functionality is provided, download resources for legitimate educational purposes subject to applicable rights and restrictions.

Access to Edriso does not grant ownership of the content.

Users may not:

• hack or attempt to compromise Edriso;
• gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts;
• distribute viruses, malware, or malicious software;
• interfere with Platform availability;
• circumvent authentication, payment, download, or usage restrictions;
• perform unauthorized automated scraping;
• systematically extract Edriso's database;
• use bots to generate artificial traffic;
• reproduce substantial portions of Edriso to create a competing database or service;
• upload unlawful or infringing material;
• commit fraud through the Platform; or
• use Edriso for activities prohibited by Algerian law.

Reasonable automated access for legitimate search-engine indexing may be permitted according to Edriso's technical policies.

The current public exam library and document contributions do not require payment. Availability depends on published resources and technical operation. Future paid services are not offered through this release.

No paid services or checkout are offered in the current release. If paid services are introduced, their terms and the information required by applicable consumer and electronic-commerce law must be provided before any transaction.

No prices, payment methods or payment processor are offered in the current release. Do not send payment in response to an unverified message claiming to represent Edriso.

There are currently no paid subscriptions, recurring charges or automatic renewals on Edriso.

Refunds, cancellation rights, and performance of electronic contracts shall be handled according to applicable Algerian electronic-commerce and consumer-protection legislation.

Nothing in these Terms removes a consumer's mandatory statutory rights.

Where Edriso establishes an additional commercial refund policy, that policy shall be displayed separately and shall supplement rather than unlawfully restrict statutory rights.

The current release does not integrate advertising placements or an advertising provider. Audience analytics are described separately in the Privacy Policy.

The current public release does not provide AI tutoring, generated explanations or an AI chat service.

The current service processes browsing and technical information, browser preferences, uploaded documents and their metadata, rights confirmations, staff authentication and moderation records. See the Privacy Policy for the services involved and outstanding privacy/contact arrangements. Applicable statutory data-protection rights are not limited by these Terms.

Users may have rights to information, access, correction, objection and deletion under applicable Algerian personal-data legislation, subject to its conditions.

A verified receiving channel for these requests is not yet available. See privacy-request availability. Do not send sensitive information to the previously advertised, unverified addresses.

Edriso shall implement appropriate organizational and technical measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, destruction, or other unlawful processing.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Users are also responsible for maintaining reasonable security over their account credentials and devices.

The current implementation uses Vercel for hosting and public-page analytics, Supabase for database/storage/authentication, Cloudmersive for scanning uploaded files, Sentry for diagnostics, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for public-page analytics.

These services may process data outside Algeria. Provider locations, retention periods and the applicable transfer arrangements require confirmation by the operator. See the Privacy Policy.

Language, theme and staff-session storage support site functionality. Nonessential audience analytics are separate and do not run on authentication, MFA, admin, moderation or upload pages in this version.

There is currently no on-site analytics consent selector. The operator must resolve applicable consent requirements before launch; the presence of these Terms does not establish consent. See the Privacy Policy.

Edriso accepts document contributions for malware scanning and staff review before publication.

A contributor must have the necessary rights or authorization to submit content.

Uploading content does not transfer ownership to Edriso.

However, the contributor grants Edriso the permissions reasonably necessary to store, reproduce, process, organize, display, and distribute the material through the Platform according to the functionality selected by the contributor.

Edriso may remove material that violates applicable law, these Terms, or third-party rights.

Edriso will make reasonable efforts to maintain Platform availability.

However, temporary interruptions may occur because of:

• maintenance;
• updates;
• technical failures;
• cybersecurity incidents;
• hosting problems;
• telecommunications failures; or
• events outside Edriso's reasonable control.

Temporary unavailability does not automatically create liability where such limitation is permitted by applicable law.

Edriso is an educational support platform.

Edriso does not guarantee:

• success in the Baccalaureate;
• success in the BEM;
• success in school or university examinations;
• any specific grade;
• admission to a university or educational institution;
• correctness of every third-party solution; or
• that every resource covers the entirety of an official curriculum.

Students remain responsible for their preparation and should consult official educational sources where appropriate.

Edriso is responsible for its obligations to the extent required by Algerian law.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or restrict liability or consumer rights where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable legislation.

Subject to those mandatory rules, Edriso shall not be responsible for losses resulting solely from:

• improper use of the Platform;
• reliance on clearly identified unofficial or AI-generated information without reasonable verification;
• unauthorized actions by users;
• third-party websites or independent services; or
• circumstances beyond Edriso's reasonable control.

Edriso may restrict or suspend an account where there is reasonable evidence of:

• fraud;
• hacking;
• copyright infringement;
• automated abuse;
• serious or repeated violation of these Terms;
• threats to Platform security; or
• unlawful activity.

Measures taken shall be proportionate where required by applicable law.

Users may request deletion of their account subject to applicable legal obligations concerning data retention.

Edriso may improve, modify, replace, or discontinue features as the Platform evolves.

Where a modification materially affects an existing paid service or a consumer's contractual rights, Edriso shall comply with applicable notification and consumer-protection requirements.

Edriso may update these Terms to reflect:

• changes to its services;
• new features;
• changes in Algerian legislation;
• regulatory requirements; or
• security and operational requirements.

The latest version shall display its revision date.

Material changes may be communicated to registered users where required or appropriate.

These Terms and the relationship between Edriso and its users are governed by the laws and regulations of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.

Mandatory provisions of Algerian consumer, electronic-commerce, personal-data, intellectual-property, and other applicable laws remain applicable notwithstanding anything to the contrary in these Terms.

Users are encouraged to contact Edriso first to seek an amicable resolution to any complaint or dispute.

Where an amicable resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the competent Algerian jurisdiction, determined in accordance with applicable Algerian law.

Nothing in this clause deprives consumers of jurisdictional or procedural rights granted to them by mandatory legislation.

If any provision of these Terms is declared invalid or unenforceable by a competent authority, the remaining provisions shall continue to apply to the extent legally possible.

Contact, legal/copyright complaints and privacy requests do not yet have a verified receiving channel. The previously advertised email addresses should not be relied on until their configuration and delivery have been confirmed.
